Natalya Saprunova, born in Murmansk in Russia's Arctic region, is a documentary photographer based in Paris. For her reportages in the Far North, she works in temperatures as low as -60°C. Her work has won numerous prestigious awards, including the UNICEF Photo of the Year, Marilyn Stafford Foto Reportage Award, ZEKE Award for Documentary Photography from the Social Documentary Network, Canon Female Grant at Visa pour l'Image, the world's largest photojournalism festival.
